Tiene textura suave y flexible, gran durabilidad y un acabado rustico. Al doblarla o manipularla, el acabado encerado puede generar variaciones de tono y marcas vintage sutiles. Las marcas superficiales se pueden suavizar con el calor de los dedos o con acondicionador para cuero, y con el uso desarrolla una patina mas brillante. Tiene 2 mm de espesor y mide 12 pulgadas de ancho por 72.5 pulgadas de largo, aproximadamente 184 cm. Se entrega en un rollo continuo, sin empalmes, con una longitud indicada de 6.04 pies. Es facil de cortar, perforar, biselar, remachar y coser a mano con herramientas comunes para trabajar cuero. Sirve para asas de bolsos, correas para carteras y mochilas, collares para perros, llaveros, revestimientos de mangos de herramientas, escobas y bastones, y reparaciones de sillas antiguas. No es adecuada para tallado en humedo ni estampado con agua. Para mantener el acabado, se puede aplicar ocasionalmente aceite de vison o balsamo para cuero.
