The Willow Everett Teapot with Infuser is an elegant yet durable pot for brewing your favorite whole leaf tea. Made from sturdy BPAfree glass and 188 stainless steel, watch as the water deepens to the lustrous deep red of a perfect cup of tea.The handle is made from the same glass as the body of the pot. Its design and connection to the body means it keeps cool enough to make pouring easy. If you feel it is too warm, its easy to grasp it with a potholder, dishtowel or oven mitt. This charming tea brewer is designed as a teapot rather than a tea kettle. That means its not intended to be used on the stovetop, like a pot or whistling kettle. Make sure it is room temperature before pouring the water into the infuser basket.Designed to hold up to 40 fluid ounces of tea, enough for three to four mugs worth of tea. Or, if you prefer a classic teacup, plenty for you and two friends to have two full cups each. The included cozy will keep the pot warm as you all catch up.The steel infuser basket is sized to rest comfortably on the glass lip of the pots opening. The metal lid fits securely into the top of the infuser, so it wont slide or leak scalding water as you pour. The classic shape and simple design means this teapot will be at home in just about any kitchen, from country chic to modern industrial. Its great for making your everyday morning brew, but lovely enough to serve afternoon tea to guests. Both the glass and stainless steel are toprack dishwasher safe. For best product life, hand wash and dry completely before putting away. Make sure to avoid exposing a still hot pot to cold water, and an icy cold pot to hot water to prevent cracking.Brew tea in any form in this handy little teapot, from the finest loose tea to everyday tea bags. You can even brew a gorgeous blooming tea to the delight of yourself and your friends with the infuser basket and lid removed.Microwave safe Avoid dirtying more dishes than you have to and save brewing time by popping the teapot into the microwave. Make sure to remove the basket and lid ahead of time. The handle may be hot, so remove it from the microwave carefully.Makes excellent cold brewed tea. Just add tea and water, and place in the refrigerator to slowsteep to perfection. If your tea requires hot water, make sure the pot has cooled to room temp after adding to the pot and before putting in the fridge.
