Una botella de 16 oz, con peso neto de 453 g, reemplaza hasta 8 bolsas de arena y convierte el agua en un gel firme y estable en 5 a 10 minutos. El polimero reticulado absorbe hasta 400 veces su peso en agua. El gel resiste fugas si la base tiene pequenos agujeros o grietas y soporta ciclos de congelamiento y deshielo para uso en distintos climas. Permanece en estado de gel durante 7 anos o mas. Es una alternativa ecologica y se retira facilmente de la base agregue sal para disolverlo en pocos minutos y devolverlo a estado liquido. La instruccion proporcionada indica agregar aproximadamente 23 del polimero seco a la base, llenarla hasta 12 con agua, anadir el resto y completar con agua dejando aproximadamente 12 de espacio de aire.
