AVH120BT Digital Media Receiver features builtin Bluetooth for handsfree calling and audio streaming, audiovideo playback from USB and DVD sources, safety features such as back up camera ready and much more. When a Bluetooth device is in close proximity to the receiver, it automatically pairs to the receiver. Bluetooth wireless technology has made life in the vehicle much more convenient. It also improves better call quality reception using the wideband speech Handsfree Profile 1.6, which nearly doubles the bandwidth of the frequency for call quality similar to FM reception. Other features include the ability to browse music libraries on smartphones wirelessly. Android Music Support Users of Android devices running operating system 4.0 or later can connect and listen to music stored on their device to the AVH120BT without the need for an app. The process is made possible using Media Transfer Protocol MTP.
