New brothread MultiPurpose 100 Mercerized Cotton Threads Color 24 Basic Colors Hilo de algodon 100 por ciento gaseado y mercerizado, elaborado con algodon de fibra extralarga. El proceso especial ayuda a reducir la pelusa y brinda una superficie mas suave, con mayor lustre y aspecto mate. Cada carrete tiene 600 m o 660 yd. El hilo simple es de peso 50 el hilo de tres cabos retorcidos y unidos tiene un peso real de 30 WT y Tex 33. Ideal para quilting, overlock, patchwork, costura a maquina o a mano, bordado pesado a maquina y bordado liviano a mano. Recomendado especialmente para telas naturales como algodon y lino, ya que su encogimiento al lavado es similar al de estas telas y ayuda a evitar frunces. El carrete tiene base con traba para evitar que el hilo se desenrolle. Para maquinas sin alimentacion horizontal, se recomienda usar un soporte vertical para hilo. Se recomienda aguja de ojo grande 8012. Como el hilo no se estira tanto como el poliester o el nailon, reduci la velocidad de costura si se corta. Lavar con agua fria y secar a temperatura baja o media.
