A SIMPLE FIX When an outlet sits too deep, crooked or loose, these outlet repair spacers for electrical boxes add the support it needs. They help the receptacle sit flush and steady beneath the wall plate, even when the box is recessed or the finished wall is uneven.GALVANIZED METAL Made from galvanized metal, these outlet wall plate leveling shims resist rust and corrosion during normal indoor use. Each 21 g 0.74 oz spacer fits behind the device yoke for firm support, and the 10pack covers several outlet or switch projects.50 THICKER These outlet leveling plates are 50 thicker than ordinary spacers, giving loose or recessed outlets stronger support where thin shims can flex. The rigid metal helps the device sit flush with the wall and cuts down on unwanted wobble.VERSATILE USE Whether you are updating an older home, remodeling an office or working around tile, drywall or plaster, these outlet shims help bring recessed outlets and switches level with the finished wall. Use them with compatible singlegang devices when the holes align.EASY TO INSTALL Fitting metal wall plate spacers for outlets takes only a few steps. Turn off power at the breaker, remove the wall plate, loosen the mounting screws, set the spacer behind the outlet or switch yoke, then align and retighten. Check the size first longer screws may be needed.
