Al encenderlo inicia en sensibilidad baja presione el boton S una vez para seleccionar sensibilidad media y otra vez para sensibilidad alta. Incluye luz de deteccion y linterna trasera, que solo puede encenderse cuando el tester esta apagado. Su diseno compacto tipo lapiz incluye gancho para llevarlo en el bolsillo. Funciona con bateria y tiene voltimetro con voltaje minimo de operacion de 12 volts. Si el voltaje de la bateria baja de 2.5V, el indicador parpadea 3 veces y suena el avisador antes del apagado automatico.
